Default Instalation Problems - Please Help

Ok, ive decided to finally play GW on my laptop instead of my desktop...

But, when I try to install it, it freezes on 96%. (or was it 98%??)

If I then try to repair instalation, it freezes on something like 62%.

Im sure my specs are up to date, and I have the latest drivers etc...

Running:

P4 2.67 Ghz
512 DDR-Ram
120 GB HDD
64 MB Nvidia Gfx

So, not sure why its being like this...any suggestions would be great!!!

Are you installing from cd or the download client?

Try deleting any trace of guildwars (after it crashes during the install) and try to install again.

Erm..

I just put the CD in, and press install. Then it connects to Anet, and starts downloading!

So, I would have said both!

Or is there a way to install purely off the cd without connecting to the internet??

Try installing from the download client (not the cd) on GW website. Currently it's on the main page due to free weekend PvP play.

Have you had any issues of other programs crashing, or giving error's installing or running.

Definitely try downloading the client. www.guildwars.com, and there should be a button that says "Download Client." I never installed from the CD, because before it came out I downloaded the client to see if it would run, so I can't relate to your installationg problems, but downloading the client worked for me, so give it a try.
